HOʻŌLAMAU PARTNERS WITH SACRAMENTO ALOHA FESTIVAL
Aloha Mai Kākou!
On behalf of KIA Enterprises, LLC and HOʻŌLAMAU Hawaiʻi, I am deeply proud to announce the partnerships established with the KAʻŌNOHI Foundation and the Annual ALOHA FESTIVALS Sacramento, CA. This partnership represents the opportunity to bridge thousands of our Asian/Pacific Islanders living and thriving throughout the State of California. Hoʻōlamau (Hawaiʻi) is an actual hula TV series that showcases some Hawaiiʻs most renown and talented Nā Kumu Hula & Hālau Hula (from Hawaii) that was aired on KGMB/KFVE during the month of July of this year, to provide Merrie Monarch and Keiki Hula much support in their virtual TV presentations. Hoʻōlamau established its position to be the anchor and “books-ends” with 5 Episodes showing 1 major episode per week for our hula people throughout the State of Hawaii. We have succeeded
in bringing life back to our people of hula with so much uncertainty, frustration, and fear that remains! And yet, here we are! Determined to overcome with a sense of urgency and passion to start living again!
We are honored that the Kaʻōnohi Foundation agreed to carry this theme of HOʻŌLAMAU into this yearʻs ALOHA FESTIVALS Celebrations. HOʻŌLAMAU tells us we must continue our healing! The healing of our selves through strength and purpose. The healing of our families through faith, love and hope. And healing of our nations!!!
This could not have been possible if not for Auntie Mona ʻUlaleo Foster of the KAʻŌNOHI Foundation and Kumu Hula Kalāhikola Lovel of Hālau Ka Waikahe Lani Mālie and the Men of Hālau Kahulaliwai (Sacramento). The three of us have made a sound commitment to each other and to our Hawaiian heritage that flows in our veins. This is the partnership! And we honor each of our Asian/Pacific Islanders to never forget who you are. Where you come from. And your purpose in life!
HOʻŌLAMAU and the Annual ALOHA FESTIVALS on Saturday, September 18th will be a day for us all to draw strength and rekindle the fire in our hearts to forge a path of prosperity, joy, unity, with alohaI
